Summer at Adams

Last summer Adam bought a beautiful house on a lake 5 minutes from our home. Natalie and he worked for several weeks before heading back to school to clear out the backyard. That resulted in a case of poison ivy for both of them. They did a great job. As luck would have it, Dan found a renter for them for several months so they were able to make a bit of money before their June wedding and move in time.
We have enjoyed quite a few barbeques on their deck and bonfires in the fire pit. Aunt Stella even made it down and back up. It is not an easy climb back up from the water. Luckily they live close enough to a boat launch where some of us old folks can be unloaded and picked up.

They do have a great house! We had so much fun going out on the boat when we were there this summer. And it was so convenient to come back for lunch and then go right back out. We spent all day on the lake tubing, when we came back at the end of the day Adam had a big bon fire waiting for us and we grilled dinner and then made smores. It was a lot of fun, they definitely have a good set up there. I only wish the lake wasn't quite so green!
