Happy New Year

Christmas vacation went way to fast, even though we stayed away until January 7th. It was a great break. Weather most of the time was 80 or more. We did face a few days of record cold, but then we just went to the stores instead of the pool. Picked up a few of those after Christmas sales. A person could get very lazy living like that.
Our flight down was extremely bumpy, but a smooth one on the return. What made it all the better is that Dan splurged on Spirit and flew us first class. Wow, it is like there is no one else on the plane. Your seat is so big you can't see behind you. Lots of leg room and great places for your carry ons. He even let me pay to bring home 3 suitcases. Yes, on Spirit not only do you pay for your drinks and snacks, you also have to pay for all your luggage you send thru.
Dan looks pretty happy even though he is going home. I think he knew it would be 65 degrees when we returned.
Looks like I got just about the right amount of tan. We sure do look comfortable.
Who could be upset about returning home when this precious bundle of joy is waiting for you. Great Grandma Lois did a great job babysitting all by herself for three days while I was gone. She loves being with us where all the action is and we love having her.
