As you know, we have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of our first grandchild. Well, last night we had two babies, a black and a peachy cream one. Unfortunately, not human, but feline.....
We have adopted a stray outside and she, Marble, has had her second batch of kittens. The first one occured in June and we found that kitten under our deck. She has a story all her own and for a while was known as the "Miracle Kitten". Several lives later, and she is now called Dia, for Diablo, cause she is a firecracker. Adam and Natalie adopted her and she is in the above picture relaxing at home on the guest bed. Walter the dog and Dia are fast friends and look so much alike.
Dan was getting the barn ready for parking the boats and cars for winter and heard some meowing outside. It was near dark and we found the little black kitty in the bushes our front. She spent the night in the sunroom with her mom and was nice and cozy. This morning when I was making my bed I heard another meow. Well, I ran outside and sure enough there was a creamy kitten in the bushes.
They are round, cute, balls of fur. We have called everyone and told them we had a baby over night. Some, like Natalie, didn't think it was so funny... Hope we can write soon about the real delivery, but I know you will fall in love with these pictures. They are available for adoption if anyone is interested.

Those kittens are so cute! I love their blue eyes.
They are very cute. Tempting too, but we are maxed out for pets and people at our house!
I sure wish Andy didn't have allergies to cats. I would take one in a minute!
