Matching Sabbath Outfits

We had another wonderful Sabbath at Oakwood Church. Our new pastor, Justin Kim, is the best. Every week Oakwood thanks God for sending him to our church and school. Great report, 43 students have filled out registration forms for 2009/10 school year.
Here is Sarah with Lily's new friend and mom Farrah before church. Isn't Sarah's diaper bag adorable? It is a backpack and so soft and of course, pink and brown. We found it in Florida. I want one.....So, after church we all had a great lunch at Sarah's. Lots of food cause we were going to invite guests from church, but our new fellowship team had it covered. Thanks Melissa. We will get them another time. Since no guests, we decided to get some cute pictures of Leah and Lily in their matching outfits. Thought you would get a kick out of our try. Wow, we need a professional to give us some help.
Sarah is always worried I will put up unflattering pictures on Facebook so I promised her I wouldn't. But, I didn't say anything about my blog......So, some of these aren't the cutest, but I thought you could see what we are up against trying to get cute pictures.
1. Leah will never look at the camera anymore.
2. If she looks at camera, she won't smile.
3. Lily's head won't stay propped up.
4. She has a problem keeping her eyes from crossing.
5. Leah won't leave Lily alone.
Just a few of our challenges. Hope you enjoy the pictures and get a little chuckle out of it.

A little help from sister.
Now, help from mom.
Time for a kiss.
What's up?
HELP!
Watch that elbow.
Check out those eyes!
I love you!
They are both at least looking in the same direction.
Another adjustment.
Hands off! I think Lily is actually flinching.
Watch the nose!

Is it over already? So which, one of these gorgeous pictures would you use on an announcement? The outfits are cute though and we had fun and some good laughs trying to take these pictures. Believe it or not, the best picture of the crossed eyes was to blurry to post, but we were rolling on the floor laughing. There is never a dull moment at Sarah's, but somehow, Dan, David, and Adam all were able to fall asleep.

Oh what a fun series of pictures Julie. Maybe when Auntie Kim gets there in a few weeks she can give a go at trying to catch a picture too. Have fun visiting Aunt Stella. Give her my love. When are the babies coming this way?

how cute, I like the one of the two of them on opposite sides of the chair. Maybe not the best one for an announcement, but it's so adorable. I also like the one of them both looking in the same direction, too bad no one was over there with the camera where they were looking.
I see Sarah got a PPB diaper bag. I loved mine, they are very fragile though, after 18 months mine is starting to look a little dull and snagged.

the second to last picture is the cutest

Too Cute! The second to last is great (opposite sides of chair). But yeah, probably not the best for the announcement picture close-up. Although, lots of room on the back for additional photos. It's a toss up for me between Leah kissing Lily and them looking in the same direction. Thanks for sharin. I always appreciate you keeping in touch with the blog.

Some of the pictures with the expressions are priceless and you'll need to do a double layout for scrapping.

Girls are so cute in their matching outfits.

Where are you? Miss seeing updates.

My daughter and the girls were with her father in OR and now are with her in-law's in CO and fly here to me in CT a week from today. We will all drive up to Cecelia and Bob's when Rachael and the kids are there over the first weekend of August. Wish all of Cecelia's kids would be there so we could meet the rest of the family.

Just getting over shingles. Two weeks ago today I went by ambulance from my doctor's off with intense back pain and elevated blood pressure. The ER diagnosed muscle pain. The next night (over the phone), my doctor diagnosed shingles when he had me check for a rash. Got on new meds a half hour later and had lots more relief. Hopefully back to work on Monday.

Hope your summer has been a lot better than how mine started out.

Can't wait to see my girls!
